You can read about Morris and his associate de Morgan in our <a href=\"\/articles\/william-frend-de-morgan-and-arts-crafts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">article on Arts &amp; Crafts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\nOur ceramic mural has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.russian-mayolica.ru\/wp-content\/cache\/thumb\/b5\/9fd7ebaf6fbd2b5_800x0_notrise.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">made for a splashback<\/a> and is framed by olive tiles of different shades matching the background panels color. The colors of the mural are different from William Morris&#8217;s original work.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe panel has been made in a slab technique, and its cuts exactly repeat the silhouettes of birds and openwork branches, which allows viewers to perceive the image as a whole without splitting it into equal squares.
