About Russian Majolica

Russian Majolica

Our ceramic atelier is an association of artists and ceramists many of whom are members of various professional societies and associations based on family craft businesses.

This is why our works are of authorship even when we rework famous historical objects of art or use our standard molds.

This is also why you can get exceptional art objects made for your home in one singular exemplar. Even when they are made using our standard molds, there’s always a unique component to them: low relief murals, carved ceramics, art murals or complex multilayered brilliant glazing.

These delicate gently-colored relief tiles are replicas of English ceramic tiles of the end of 19th century. The combination of soft shades of lingonberry, warm green and azure with openwork relief of these tiles will add sophistication into any interior and submerge into athmosphere of old England of the end of 19th century.

Very high decorative properties of late-Victorian Arts&Crafts wares rang especially strong in these ceramic tiles. The tiles’ relief interweaves so much that it creates a sort of a lace with it’s lines. Along with quite a complex coloristic decisions this relief can become a great decoration for any house.

If aligned in rows, our Lace relief tiles sprawl into a glittering and flushing floral carpet which is simply indescribable in it’s beauty, creating new weaves of ornaments in it’s corners.
